Prudential Companies

Prudential offers disability insurance coverage and plans through a number of subsidiaries, including:
  • Prudential Group Insurance
  • Prudential Individual Life Insurance
  • Prudential Disability Insurance
  • Assurance IQ, LLC
  • The Prudential Insurance Company of America

If you have an insurance plan with one of these companies or any other Prudential subsidiary, then our team can help you to get the payout that you need.

Why Do Prudential Insurance Companies Deny Claims?

Massive insurance companies like Prudential make a large part of their profits from investing. They take the money that you give them every month, combine it with the premiums from other customers, and then invest it in different market instruments.

To put it simply, they deny or delay paying you so that they can keep that money invested for longer, and make more profits. Even though you are likely desperate for the money, possibly unable to work, and with mounting medical bills, they are prioritizing making money. This is why you need our help: we will pressure the insurance company into paying you what you deserve within a reasonable timeframe.

What can you do when Prudential denies your claim?

Prudential insurance companies take millions of dollars every year in premiums – premiums paid by people just like you, who sacrifice a significant part of their paycheck every month to ensure they have cover in case something bad happens. In fact, the Prudential parent company is one of the largest companies in the world, with over $50 billion in annual revenues.

Unfortunately, while they are extremely efficient at taking your money, they are less responsive when it comes to paying out for a claim – often choosing to deliberately delay a payment, working to diminish the value of a claim, or flat out denying any compensation.

They do this through what is called ‘bad faith’. Bad faith is a catch-all term for when the insurance carrier tries to use loopholes or different interpretations of specific clauses and terms within the policy to essentially tell you that you are not covered for what you thought you were.

It is standard behavior for a lot of insurance providers to retain legal teams who are employed specifically to work against their customers and save every cent and dollar that they can – they know that the majority of claimants will be intimidated into simply accepting what they are being told.

Do not let them get away with it.

Our company was set up specifically to fight back. We are not scared of taking on these multi-billion dollar companies with their legal teams in court: we have done it before, and we will continue to do it for as long as we have to.

If you have had your legitimate insurance claim denied, diminished, or delayed by a Prudential insurance company, then you need to get in touch with Ronstadt Law today. We will do everything we can to make sure that the situation is resolved in your favor, and that you get the payout you deserve.

Prudential Appeal Process

Your first step when you have had your claim denied or reduced is to appeal with your insurance carrier. This is a written request for the provider to reassess your case – you will need to send over your policy documentation, medical notes, and any other supporting information.

That might sound simple enough, but there are strict regulations across the insurance industry that dictate how long you have to appeal your case (ERISA laws). Having the support of an experienced specialist can help you with this crucial first step – we will make sure that your appeal contains everything necessary and is filed on time. Otherwise, you may lose your fight before you even begin.

When to reach out to an attorney for help.
Always consult with a disability attorney before submitting appeals. The strength of a lawsuit depends on the quality of the appeal.
Insurance companies want you to give up – they save money when you do. Don’t give up! We routinely go up against insurance companies and know what it takes to get your benefits. With so much at stake to protect your livelihood, don’t go at it alone.
Most firms do not provide continued support after your case is won, but we do. We provide you with additional care and protection, because insurance companies use tactics to avoid paying disability benefits after claims are won.

Ray Ortega | July 2021
In 2020 I was dealing with a Long Term Disability (LTD) appeal issue with my private LTD provider. After exhausting “in house” appeal methods to no avail, I decided I needed to seek a professional legal team to assist me with my appeal.

I performed an internet search in the Phoenix area and read through several Disability Attorney websites and advertisements. I decided to reach out to Ronstadt Law and supply them with my basic information to have the firm perform an evaluation on my appeal case.

I received a very quick response on my evaluation we started the ball rolling on building information for my appeal. I was in possession of
numerous documents for my LTD appeal; Erin and her staff worked with me to receive these documents for my case file.

Throughout my appeal process, Erin and her staff allowed me to work hand-in-hand with them to provide comments on insurance documents provided by my LTD provider. This allowed me to stay actively involved in my case and to assist in providing responses to the provider.

Erin and her staff were very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous all the way to our settlement. We settled out of court in the summer of 2021. I highly recommend Ronstadt Law for anyone who has need for legal counsel pertaining to disability issues.

I sure picked the right Firm!
